Black and White Drawings

Rough Pencil Drawings- $75 p/char

Linework – $75-$250 (based on complexity, character number, backgrounds, etc)

Digital Clean Sketches w/ Flat values – $50-$110 per char, depending on complexity

Colored Character Pieces

Flat color: $100 (+$50 per add character up to three. +75 up to five)

Flat color with Basic Background/basic shading: $130 (+75 per char up to three, +$110 up to five)

Fully shaded, no background (great for printing your own standees): $150. +$80 per char, up to 3.

Illustrative Cartoony w/ semi-basic background

$250-$350 ( it REALLY depends on complexity, case by case)$50-$100 per extra character.

Semi-Realistic/Illustrative work

Fully shaded pencil character illustrations (I mail my originals no additional charge, but for shipping).

$150-$200 depending on character complexity. $60-$100 per add character. (characters must be interacting and have overlap.)

Full Color character, no background – $275-$375 based on char complexity.

FULL ILLUSTRATIONS

As an illustrating professional, I work with personal/company budgets a lot. I have separated my work into 3 detail levels, each more complex than the last, to help my clients make a choice that best fits them. Typically, the choices in price are based on how much time I know will go into the piece.

Detail level 1 takes about 12-15 hours.

Detail level 2 takes about 15-20.

Detail level 3 takes between 22-30.

DETAIL LEVEL 1: blurry backgrounds mixed with painterly characters. Some details may be simplified, but beautiful lighting will never be sacrificed. Usually includes 1 or 2 areas of high detail, while the rest fades to atmosphere and small environment details. The character will never look “placed” on a background, but rather inside of it, living and breathing.

$350-$475 based on complexity. +$50-$90 per add character, up to 3.

DETAIL LEVEL 2
Same as DETAIL 1, but more hours are carved into mastering the look of certain areas with fur, equipment, design, etc. Backgrounds are chosen carefully to give the character more love, without sacrificing an actual environment. The more simple a background is, the more detail will be put into the characters.

$400-$600

$100-$120 per add character, up to 3.

DETAIL LEVEL 3

The very most I’m capable of. Details are spread through the illustration as I see artistically fit for the piece. Full-fledged pieces of art fit for my professional portfolio. (subject matter of course, does not need to be professional 😉 )

$600-$900 depending on complexity, case by case.
+$100-$120 per add char, up to 3. +$200 per char up to 5.
